Recently the topic of gnome folklore came up at my librarian day job, as can happen around the holidays, especially these last few years with bearded, button-nosed, red pointy hat fellows proliferating everywhere you can find décor.

Today I find myself raw with an ocean of emotions, trying to find a place to begin in writing to all of you again after more than a month away from any blogging at all whatsoever.

Sometimes we really can learn a lot from children's shows. I adore the cartoon, Hilda, and just finished watching the newest story (a movie called Hilda and the Mountain King) on Netflix. And you know, it made me think.
