A Froudian Homage

These pictures are among my favorites ever taken of me, and we’ve been sitting on them for a couple of years now. I am so so happy to share them! Thanks to Faerie Magazine for including one of the images in their summer Elven issue, arriving in mailboxes and retail shops now!

When Rachel and I went to the woods to take pictures inspired by Brian Froud’s art, I knew just where I wanted to go: the faerie castle, a special moss-strewn latticework of fallen trees and branches very dear to my heart.

The first image is probably in my top five of favorite photos of me. I feel wild and fey and unstoppable.
